"If I could give this place ZERO STARS I WOULD. This place is the utter most disgusting food chain I ever eaten at. Too the nasty employees working there to the RUDE customers they deal with. I wouldn't be surprised if they SPIT in the food they cook with the way that they get talked too. This place honestly matches the neighborhood it resides in DISGUSTING. I HIGHLY NEVER RECOMMEND."

"Oh, MY. Yeah, that's the pizza compound you're looking for if you really want to pamper in a deep dish... and approved Chicago man. The crust is perfect.crispy and even caramelized on the outside, but slightly doughy and chew on the inside.... You can say the pans they use are really with years of use...and it supplements the taste! Loading with toppings (we had Pep Pineapple) and cheerful kindness. Well, don't think you're going to a 'restaurant' that is pizza and good food, especially to go to place. You have 3 small tables and a cooler for drinks... but the pizza is so hot it will probably be perfect when you come home. Owners and employees are friendly, but to the point, finally it never stopped being busy while we were there....and for good reason."

"Good food, but everything about service was slow. Slowly to order drinks, slow to get them. She has come back for ever to take our food order. Our glasses were empty long before our waitress came back to ask for refills and then took a long time to bring them back. The food was really good, but the slow and bad service really makes it a bad overall experience."

"Found this place near, as it showed differently on the photos. Upon arrival, the seating area is tight. The order is fast, but the food took a very long time. They were short staff. Lighting is very bright and not cozy to eat. Many men come to eat, so don't take your girlfriend or date here, but you can always eat in the car as we ended up doing since we were with baby. 2 simple mixing plates cost little over $30.00 and that's too much. The food was hot and very tasty. Probably not back soon."

"I stopped in for a quick bite and really enjoyed the atmosphere of this place. It reminded me a bit of a Bass Pro Shop with all the decor. The service is counter-style, so you order your food and then find a spot to sit until your buzzer goes off. We tried the lobster soup and the fried catfish and shrimp basket. The food was good, and overall it was a pleasant dinner experience. If you happen to have a Billy Bass fish lying around, you can bring it in for some free food!"

"That was our first time we came to Flying Fish. The first thing I noticed was how convenient it was. It is a very large space, so don't feel crowded. We decided to sit on the terrace because it was surprisingly cool in the evening, even on a day that had reached almost 100. My wife had the grilled shrimp with fries. I had the catfish with red beans and rice. I was surprised by the hard corn shell instead of a flour cake. The first presentation seemed a bit basic, but the flavors and texture were perfect. The crispy bowl added a beautiful crunch to the taco, and the shrimp and catfish were perfectly cooked. I loved the Coleslaw and pico to repel them all, but my wife thought the lawsuit was a little too sweet. It was a great experience. From the friendly checkout, the comfortable ambience, cool terrace with great food! We look forward to our next visit!"

"Nothing that really blew me away, but every aspect of it was nice. Good look, good vibe, could smell, good food. The tartar sauce doesn't have a lot of citrus in it but the vegetables seem to have been marinated in it, so that was an interesting tradeoff balance. We had the grilled spicy rainbow trout, and that was good. The catfish basket I liked a little more. The fries in the catfish basket were good, the hush puppies too. The rice with the two kinds of beans that was under the trout plate was probably my favorite side. For only a buck and a quarter more I was able to get a blood and honey long neck instead of a fountain drink, so cheers to that. Our 21 month old had a blast, ate well, and was thoroughly entertained when he finally noticed the ducks underneath us in the water. After the meal the sun was setting and when I went back in to wash my hands I was like holy heck it was cold inside. I'm very glad it wasn't like that when we were ordering! We will definitely be back. This is an awesome, economical little date night on the water."

"My boyfriend asked me if there were any small diners in town as we drove through East Peoria. So, I pulled out my handy phone and went to Google: “small diners in East Peoria”. June’s was the first that popped up, with 300+ reviews and over 4 stars, it sounded promising and we liked their menu, so we drove over to check it out! I don’t usually try new places, but I’m glad I did. June’s is easy to spot with the flashing light board outside. Greeted when we came in, and told to pick a seat! They had a full house, which usually means happy customers! Menu had nice variety and breakfast here all day, but their hours are only 5 2p. Still not bad! The decor inside is cute, clean bathrooms with hot and cold water which are neatly taken care of. Great staff, food didn’t take long to make and it came out fresh and delicious! The gravy was a bit bland, but still good with a little added salt, and I just ate it with my skillet breakfast which was SO GOOD. Definitely makes me feel at home here, and seems to be kept busy by hungry, but satisfied customers! Our waitress, Virginia, was great! PLUS they have paper straws here! Awesome!"

"The food is really good. Fried to perfection along with Great flavors. I loved the vibe and the people. However , I have a complaint that could be fixed. The bee problem. Too many bees! I don’t want to be attacked while trying to eat. It was super annoying and I couldn’t enjoy myself because I’m ducking and dodging the bees. Other than that the place is great and the owners are really welcoming and friendly along with the great staff and great food. These people are working hard for the patrons."
