"First time at the new location. Was excited to try it as I eat at their Midtown location for lunch a few times a month and love everything I've had there! The decor in this location is upscale and a bit trendy. Very nice, clean lines. The staff was friendly. I was enjoying myself...until the salsa and gold queso arrived. The salsa totally lacked any acid. Very bland tasting. I almost asked the waitress for some lime! The queso serving is half the size you get at their Midtown location and not near as thick. Definitely not the same foods so far. The chips were even different, but still they were very good, just a lot bigger, if that is possible! I ordered the bean and cheese nachos. Disappointed in the chip portion of the nachos as they got flimsy and wilty in just a few minutes. The cheese hardened up equally as fast. So, I will probably stick to the Midtown location when I eat at 1492 next time."
