"Such a cozy, welcoming place. Interesting and fast service. After a series of disappointing Teriyaki dishes at other restaurants, this phenomenal salmon teriyaki broke the Streak! It was accompanied by five different remarkably fresh vegetables, and especially delicious rice. Also pictured is the best Katsu we had in the area. Not to mention the soup... Often overlooked, but an additional bright spot on a meal when it is done and this was! My dinner companion and I agreed that they will let their quality ingredients shine through the board in the way Japanese cuisine is so well suited. And Icing on the cake, they pitched my milk and egg allergies like champs. Exceptional experience, will be back very soon! Lunch specialities are simply too tempting."

"A pearl in the ocean... When I went to this area, was very unexpected since we came in the morning. The place was very clean and professional. When we ordered and asked questions about the menu, the server answered our questions very professionally. The chef was very good at making my sushi and the ramen was just right, not too salty. Overall, if you want something perfectly balanced to eat with great service, come to ichiban sushi and ramen."

"Cool little spot! Extensive and creative selection of rolls. I’ll need to come back a few times to try them all. I loved the $30 all you can eat option too. The rolls actually arrive on a little train too! Will be returning. 4 stars because not many seats get the “train stop” sushi delivery option and the interior is dated."

"I visited this conveyor belt sushi restaurant on a Saturday afternoon with a party of 3. Despite the off-peak hour, we had to wait about 40 minutes for a table. This may be due to the fact that only one conveyor belt was operating at the time.The price was good for the value, but the sushi was not fresh and tasted bland. The fish was not spoiled, but it did not have much flavor. I will come back again for dinner one day, hoping that the food will taste better. The choices are also quite limited, so do not expect to find the same variety as you would in a Japanese conveyor belt sushi restaurant, like what you see on YouTube videos of Japan.The service at Rockin’ Rolls Sushi Durham was great. Our waitress was very attentive and brought out our orders quickly. She was also very knowledgeable about the menu and made some great recommendations for us."
