"this is a funny, new place. I sat right away and our server was nice. Eating is okay, not amazing. many of the courts were quite bland. that said the streetmais was really great. fajitas were beautiful and hot, but not very spicy/savory. guac was really good, but the chips seemed like they were out of a bag. we will definitely go back to give it another try. gracias!"

"We ate here recently. It was not a new place for us, bu that been here only 1-2 times in many years. We enjoyed the chips and dip, although it certainly appeared they actually counted how many chips we were allowed. The ambiance is very good here the rooms are broken up so noise doesn 't spread. We both had chimichan 's. Hers was chicken and mine beef. I appreciated my food more than she did. As she started eating it, she noticed it looked more like a beef-filed one. She called the waitress over and showed her. The waitress agree it appeared the kitchen had made a mistake. A second one was ordered and came quickly. But as she was eating it once again the color and texture of the meat was not chicken, The manager finally came to the table. He left and went to the kitchen. Came back after 1-2 minutes later. He explained that it was indeed chicken, but the meat is a mixture of seasoned pork and chicken. My wife ate her food, but was upset because the name of the entree was 'chicken '. She didn 't enjoy it because she could taste the difference firstly but mostly because it was NOT what she wanted and it turned out ALL their chicken and beef are mixtures. My beef one it turned out was also a mixture. Why they did it we don 't know. As we let her comment to me was "I will never eat here again. Make sure when you write this up that you let others who might read it know what they are getting. . I am now doing it. Unfortunately for the restaurant, it appears many others are no longer fond of it because for a Saturday evening it was less than half full."

"this beautiful Mexican joint meets all the right points. a wonderful owner and personal and good food. we went during a snowstorm after reading reviews and we are welcomed by the friendly staff and enjoyed talks with the owner and what he recommended from the menu. we started with asada nachos, which were perfect and crispy, I had the crema con pollo, that was awesome and so had the black tacos that are marinated in a fantastic mix of zitrus. great place and good atmosphere, highly recommended!"

"I love Mexican food and welcome all new businesses even when Vallejo already has a few very good and established mexican restaurants. I stopped by for dinner shortly after the grand opening. My observation was the music was way too loud to thepoint a conversation was difficult. Food was ok. Not bad but not great either. I've had better elsewhere. There are nocomplimentary chips which is fine but you pay $1.50 for tortilla chips that tasted like they came from a bag (not made fresh inhouse) and only get about 7-8 in a small paper bowl. Salsa is served in those tiny take out containers. Customer service wasgood and friendly. This is constructive criticism and only hope it helps the restaurant strive to be the best it can be."

"We come in a lot. It is right by my office. It was my lunch hour, today. We waited too long for drinks and chips. The place smelled like burnt grease...which is now in my hair clothes. Finally after waiting 20 minutes for our food, I asked for it to be wrapped up. Could not wait any longer. The manager comes back tells me it has only been 7 minutes. Really? Why argue with me? Super upset by all of this. I bring new folks in regularly, we come in about once a week as a couple. Even championed the company for being closed on the Day without Immigrants. Now, we are done. Not the first time we have had bad service at the place. But this is the final visit. And I am making sure everyone in our circle knows the story."

"Walked in at 7:30pm, sign and website says open till 9pm. Ordered burrito Asada, wanted beef but she said they only had chicken or pork at this time. So I went with pork. She said I was the last customer of the day which was odd since the sign said they had 2 hours left still, and closed the door behind me. The burritos was 80% rice, 15% beans and 5% pork. The pork I did get was extremely over cooked, it was dry and hard to eat. Came home and looked at the reviews and was shocked to see that others who went around this time had the same experience. I assume we just got the meat that was left over at the end of the day, and if there was not a lot, they over compensated with rice. I gave a 2 since the service was at least Good"

"We were visiting Vashon Island and got hungry for a good lunch. We saw several restaurants in the area but La Bonita caught our eye along with the aromatic food that was cooking. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and we sat outside at their picnic tables. We ordered Micheladas and chicken enchiladas. The plate was a good portion and well displayed. Once we took a bite, we were in heaven as it was authentic and tasty. The waitress came by a couple of times to make sure we were enjoying out meal. Thanks for the Great service and food!"

"In the world of Mexican restaurants there are a variety of different ways to find Mexican food. In El Sazon not only food was incredibly wonderful, but also an authentic level of Mexican cuisine. For example, the cactus is available according to the article. Do you want cattle head instead of chickens in your Burrito, no problem, it is available. How about spicy pork or tongue... yes, you can also get it from them. And although I didn't try the tongue in El Sazon, I had prepared it before and correctly, it's quite delicious. The size Chipotle Burrito was great and the image shows what was left. When soup is on the head, they had Menudo, Pozole and one more. The order was simple, the food was quickly brought out, and the staff was pleasant, helpful and friendly. El Sazon is definitely back on my short list of Mexican restaurants."
