"I 'm torn with this review. The weird thing is, even with a 2 star rating, I 'm not opposed to returning, although it 's admittedly a very low priority. The food itself, once it 's cooked, is decent. The service was fine almost overly friendly (the server had a touchy feely approach which made me feel a bit uncomfortable). It 's the whole concept of the restaurant itself that I think I 'm uncomfortable with. Sure, I like assembling my own food to be cooked. I like the ability to add just what I want. The sauces, though which you get a variety of different sauces and ingredients to choose from (including sherry, although I think it 's cooking sherry , which has added salt) can be a bit tricky. It 's possible to mix different sauces together and end up with a rather harsh tasting concoction. My suggestion would be to stick with one sauce, and add way more to your bowl than you think is necessary because once it 's on the grill, the cook let 's it cook down and concentrate. That process, which is better than some Mongolian grills that 'll add splashes of water to the vegetables, intensifies the flavors (good OR bad). You DO get suggestions on how to mix different ingredients to come up with a new sauce. But I 'm just not a fan of this style of restaurant. It 's a buffet, yet your food still has to be cooked. By assembling the different ingredients in bowls that are actually rather small you are actually putting in a fair amount of work. And there 's no guarantee that you 'll like what ends up on your plate. Like I said earlier, my server was almost overly friendly in an uncomfortable way. I don 't need pats on my shoulders to be shown good customer service. I mentioned the small bowls if you have a big appetite, you 'll need a minimum of two trips through the line to get filled up. Apparently the servers are trained to bring you your check after your second trip. I don 't know if a third trip is allowed, but once I 'm presented with my check, I usually take that as a sign that I need to pay and leave once I 'm finished eating what 's in front of me. You CAN order items from a menu, like egg rolls and potstickers, plus some dessert items. I didn 't try the desserts, but I did order a small plate of potstickers. 4 for $7.99, which is steep. And, they were deep fried rather than pan fried, and served with a sweet and sour sauce instead of a savory dipping sauce. Very overpriced. When I go back, I 'll pass on the menu items. Again, I 'll go back. But it 's going to be a while."
