"Stopped for BBQ as we were traveling through California based upon positive reviews. We were hungry and everything sounded so good. We ordered Crazy Fries, a 2 meat combo plate (Brisket and St Louis Ribs) and an California Orchard Salad. The Crazy Fries came out fairly quickly and was substantial in size. The Crazy Fries are spiral cut potato wedges topped with bacon, pulled pork, cheese sauce, grilled jalapeño, cilantro crema, and salsa. Absolutely delicious. It was filling and we could have eaten it as our meal. Next to arrive was the California Orchard Salad. The Salad is a combination of green apples, grapes, oranges, strawberry, celery, almonds, cranberries, avocado slices, mixed greens and blue cheese crumbles. Because we were sharing the Salad and my husband doesn't like blue cheese, we had the cheese on the side. We were give several salad dressings to try. Honey mustard is our favorite but they had an avocado dressing plus a few others. To ensure we both will enjoy the Salad, we asked for honey mustard and avocado dressing on the side. Boy, were we glad. The avocado dressing was definitely not our preference. The honey mustard dressing complimented the fruit in our salad nicely. When the BBQ combo plate came out, we received a generous serving of Brisket and 3 sizable ribs along with Corn Bread and Garlic Bread. We couldn't decide which bread to try so we paid a little extra to get both. The bread came out grilled with a side of butter. The garlic bread was okay but the corn bread was very tasty, especially with it being caramelized on the grill. We tried several different BBQ sauce from the caddy but we like the Apricot Chipotle and the Smokey BBQ the best even though neither meats needed the sauce. Very Yummy! Finally, we chose roasted Brussel sprouts as our Market Side. It was a great choice. It was crispy, light and tasty. Very glad that we stopped for an early dinner. And, we brought leftovers with us for lunch tomorrow!"

"Great food in Downingtown. With my wife, my son and my daughter. (Menu is not especially child-friendly) We tried three appetizers The Braised Pork Belly, Crispy Point Judith calamari and the cheese plate. The pig bell is big and a fairly large part, it was the winner of the three. The Calamari were good, but what made the plate was the inlaid pepper medal that contained on the plate was her delicious. The cheese plate was good with three beautiful cheeses, the fennel infused goat cheese was the best of them all. The bacon jelly contained on the cheese plate was also winner. However, the waitress at serving the cheese plate did not tell us what the cheeses were and did not know for the matter and had to ask other employees what they were after we asked the point of the question. I ordered the Seared Duck Breast, which was boiled to the right temperature and the blood orange sauce was a perfect pairing. My son ordered the Bouillabaisse that he enjoyed but thought the sauces were a bit too thick. My wife got the Scampi Style Gulf Shrimp she also liked. My granddaughter got the Smoked Chicken Risotto she thought it was a little light on chicken and heavy on the Risotto, but they enjoyed it. To dessert we got to share the Jewish apple cake and the chocolate gantry tart and both were very good. The restaurant is small and there is no sound level to disturb the conversation. Service was very good. I'm looking forward to dinning again."
