"Wow. I've been driving past this place for months now thinking, yeah, must be like all the other chains. Boy, was I wrong! And I've never been happier to be wrong!<br/ <br/ The wife and I stopped in a few weeks back and had a late dinner. The ambiance was less than wonderful...country music, peanut husks on the floor, dancing in the isles (not kidding or exaggerating) but even so we both staggered out with slap happy smiles on our faces. IMHO you can not get a better dinner in the South End for anything approaching what you will pay here for an excellent steak and wonderful sides.<br/ <br/ Since that night I've picked up take out four times and we've branched out a bit, into ribs, which the wife insists are as good as Mark's! I can't get past the sirloin which is literally the best piece of meat I've ever had for the money. I've had better steaks, but at the price for 2 to 3 times what you will pay here with frankly the difference in price is hardly worth the difference in taste.<br/ <br/ In short a 1st class affordable family destination and a great place to get a great meal if taste is more important than atmosphere.<br/ <br/ PS: I tried the chili here. It is the 1st and only chili I have ever had in a restaurant that I would say is as good as my own home cooked version. It's not authentic Texas Red, it has beans...But it's still darn good!"
