"This was my first time at The Candied Yam, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations! I have been to many Soul Food Restaurants, however, this one by far is the best...hands down! The food is absolutely superb, seasoned to perfection, the food is hot when it comes to the table, the atmosphere is very inviting, customer service is on point, very friendly, we had Calvin and he is truly a people person, he makes sure that you have an enjoyable time while at the restaurant. The prices are very reasonable, my husband and I was at the restaurant, all we could do was talk about how good the food is. If you are in the area, stop by The Candied Yam, believe me you will not be disappointed. You can thank me later. By the way, I don't do reviews, however, I had to share my experience because this place is awesome!"
