Great food at decent prices the best I’ve had since living in the DM(V) with the customer service to match! Between the four of us and the kids, we tried: Fried pork chops with Mac and cheese and yams (perfect) Fried chicken with fries and greens (great) Chicken wings and fries (really good, but wings weren’t fried) Flounder sandwich and fries (perfect) Kids’ chicken nuggets and fries (great) Overall, I’d highly recommend The Candied Yam to anyone in the area looking for AMAZING, TRUE SOUL FOOD!!!"
