"I think Banthai Express just became my go-to for a local Thai spot in southwest Austin. I was recommended this food truck by some Thai friends who said all of their dishes are solid. I've been here several times and ordered a variety of dishes and have enjoyed them all. The food is fresh, flavorful, and piping hot each time I order. It's easy to order both online, and just walk up to the window and order on the spot. There are a wide variety of dishes, and something for everyone in the family. One thing I especially like about Banthai is that the dishes that are supposed to be spicy have some heat to them. Often I find Thai restaurants, in America at least, I think end up catering to people who want to order spicy dishes but don't actually like spicy food (go figure)...so the rest of us who do like spice miss out."
