"The restaurant is a little gem with a very elegant and at the same time cozy atmosphere. The service is outstanding, especially a young man that I think is the manager. The cocktails are very good, and the wine list really very long and varied. The food is good and tasty, especially the mango sorbetto. I'm planning on going back to try other specialties."

"So lucky to have had found this hidden gem. Luckily they had room for walk ins because we couldn’t get a reservation. The salad was so delicious and refreshing I wish I had the opportunity to try other appetizers. The Cacio e Pepe and the Tagliatelle Prosciutto Parmesan was absolutely delicious! And ended with the hand chopped steak! Definitely recommend!"

"We stopped in for dinner after a long day. Street parking was non existent so we did the valet to make life easier on ourselves.The food is very good and plentiful. The Risotto was tasty but too much for one person. The calzone was similarly very good. Only slight disappointment was the chicken skewer. Although perfectly cooked and tender the chicken was completely unseasoned. The Au Jus that accompanied for dipping is good but the chicken could have done with just slightly more flavor added.Finished off with a slice of cheesecake that tasted fantastic.Great wine and cocktail list too."

"We arrived early and were promptly seated by the window. At that time there weren't many other diners and the noise level was very low. In the past, later in the evening it can get loud. Before looking at the menu we enjoyed glasses of prosseco. We opted for starters, pastas and a dessert to share. Every thing was beyond good.: excellent. Plates were attractive, piping hot and delicious...just what we expect at Corso. Corso and Rivoli have been sending a joint monthly e-news letter that I find informative and worth reading. I made it a point to let Rosco, the owner, how much I appreciate getting it."

"Six stars is needed for this place. We took our volleyball team there for dinner and it was just the best. The staff was friendly and kind, taking care of us with speed and ease. We couldn?t believe how quickly the food came out. It felt like it came out before we were done ordering! The food was sooooooo good. Everyone was stuffed and happy with whatever they ordered. However, the star of the show for me was the chili olive oil which I soaked anything I could in it! If you learn about olive oil, you know that fresh olive oil is near impossible to find in the states and it rarely tastes like olives at all. This stuff was fresh, thick, and the mix of chilis gave it the perfect flavor and spice. I got to talk with the manager (maybe owner) while I went to the bar to pay for our group and they were so thankful and just wonderful spirits of the whole staff. I raved so much about the oil that they gave me a small complimentary bottle of it to take home. I will eat here 1,000 times and tell everyone I know about it."

"because I trulli next door cheaper siblings the difference in food quality is shocking! I had the rigatoni (tomatoes, sausages, saffron) the $10 cheaper version of the next door malloreddus (tomatoes, sausages, saffron). Unfortunately, this version was way too much saffron and was practically unusable. our appetizers of meatballs came lukewarm sitting on a bed of soggy brot, my companion lasagna bolognese was slightly sweet and very disappointing. the only plus was the carafe of nero D’avola, which was very drinkable. I had great hopes for this restaurant, but came very disappointed."

"Gioia has consistently been one of the better places to get a slice or whole pizza in San Francisco for as long as I have been aware of them circa the Fall of 2019. You are guaranteed a solid slice no matter what direction you take it in. They do thecheese slice right which means they are reliable for toppings both conventional and complex. You can trust this place todeliver. If they ever have an off day, it is still better than a lot of places in the City on their best. Gioia is in therunning of top tier slices in San Francisco. From the slice perspective you should absolutely try Gioia if you are consideringdoing so. There are a lot of places that are not Gioia that you may hear about and feel flippant about. Understood. Gioia isone to put on the list of for sure places to check out. If it's your vibe you may have a new favorite place to go. It's in adecent area to walk around where people and things tend to be more pleasant and there other great places to eat not only pizzabut several popular places to go. The crowds do not always realize they should be lining up for Gioia. Gioia deserves to muchbusiness the employees get overwhelmed. For the New York Style street slice type of pizza. Go here. For sure. Please note:there is very very limited seating. That is a huge drawback to this place, unfortunately. With ample seating, no one would beable to stop them. So consider that you should aim to usually just pick up a slice or pie and do as New Yorkers do and walkaround with your slice or stand right outside the door eating it in front of the establishment so they can watch how you reactto each bite. If you get a chance to sit, consider yourself lucky and sit down for a moment. Blessings."
