"Stopped here for dinner one evening while in town for a convention. It is near several other restaurants at Pentagon Row. We don't have an opportunity to eat Vietnamese food where we live so we wanted to take advantage of this spot. They have a full bar and beers. We went for some we don't often get. They were good and cold. They offer booths and table. We sat at a booth. We were greeted and seated quickly. We ordered a couple appetizers the spring rolls for one. We enjoyed them. They were filled with good veggies and a shrimp each. My table mate had Shu mi dumplings too. They were also good. As my main I had the veggie curry. The portion was generous. The spice was just right. It came with a small portion of rice. There was a good variety of veggies included. They were a bit undercooked to me but that was fine; better than overcooked. My teeth work just fine! All in all, it was a pleasant evening. It also was inexpensive for a dinner in the DC area."

"Uchiwa makes the best broth for her tonkatsu. I like to add Kimchi to the bowl and her fire wort on the side. I don't agree with the reviews that say the broth is dirty. It's the richest thing I found. The only place that even compares is in Japan city in SF. The food is superior and you could not ask for more personal experience. It is like going home for comfort food! I love Uchiwa!"

We tried to make it for 6:30 but were asked to make it earlier for 5:45 cause they wanted to be out by 7…we agreed. "Food was good! I ordered the scallops which were fairly basic. The steak was very good. Services was good, my first glass of water smelled weird (like a wet/not clean cloth was used to dry it) but other than that, good experience. Bourbon chocolate cake was Delicious!"

"The tortillas and sides at this restaurant were excellent, but I was disappointed by the 3-piece Fire-Grilled Chicken Combo. The chicken was cold, and it didn't taste fresh.
