"True yummy regional Michoacan Mexican food without unneeded posh. Go there and sit, or take out. Now. The true story behind the menu comes from the owner herself. Sadly, I forgot her name, but here's how it goes. Prior to coming to Seattle, she worked as a cook in a casino. When she moved to Seattle and wanted to open up an authentic regional Mexican restaurant, she asked her two grown sons what should be on the menu. They simply told her to cook all the delicious foods she cooked for them when they were growing up. And so, it is. The menu is a statement of a mother's love for her family and a tribute to her roots and children who actually work at the restaurant too. And it is a salute to the people and culture of Michoacan, Mexico.Vegetarian options: Rice, beans, tortillas, fajita vegetables, tomatoes, cucumbers, salads and various other ingredients are available. The salsas are varied and delicious and are self served at a cold counter. And if your diet will let you, shrimp and deep fried fish.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a slight slope at the entrance door, but not impossible to get through."
