"I had the ramen almond wrap. And it was pretty standard fair, I should have asked for more sauce because it was just super salad and dry so I really didn't taste any sauce on there at all. Ramen inside was a fun touch. The only issue was that I came in alone, so I feel like the server lady was trying to make me feel weird about that. Can't really explain it other than an attitude thing. The management was there, a couple servers and bartenders, but the vibes were dark and cold it felt like. I was completely ignored after I got sat down. Even though it wasn't busy at all, I really had to work at some serious eye contact to get someone. Just the whole thing felt like bullying in the lunch room after a while of this and I felt pretty bad about that. I told her I didn't drink alcohol but I love a mocktail if there's one on the menu. She just looked at me like I was speaking a different language and had never heard of this before. Just so passive aggressive. I got water. The cherry on top was a young lady who came in and sat at the bar alone, looked like she had been up for a few days maybe or could have been under the weather, idk, and one of the cooks in back bought her a drink she ordered long Island ice tea ...and then they proceeded to have this super weird silent argument ? . Sorry I'm not sure what else to call it. But it was a lot of pacing and staring and walking around the perimeter of the room a bunch...maybe that's why the vibes with the staff were so weird to begin with, because I wasn't comfortable at all. He eventually gave her a handful of cash and she left that long Island about 90% still full. Idk. *EDIT* Owner responded and made me feel heard instead of giving a canned BS response. Didn't make excuses, just a true apology with a promise to do better. Easy decision to change my rating to 5 stars because of this. Mistakes happen, owning them is how you succeed in this business. Well done, Gabe."
