"We didn’t get our food for over an hour. The server basically disappeared. I had to go search for her numerous times and couldn’t find her anywhere. The food was good aside from the cold soups. I also understand being short staffed or food taking a bit but the server never came back between or even said anything. A simple hey the kitchen it a little behind so it mighty take long would have been nice. Or even a check in to make sure we were ok or didn’t need refills. I asked her for boxes and the check and didn’t see her for another 25 minutes. We needed up being there for just under 2 hours with being sat right away for our reservations."

"You can substitute any burger on the menu for the Impossible Burger, or choose to create your own, which is a nice option for accommodating a mixed crowd of vegetarians and meat-eaters. The menu may sound amazing when read, but the execution falls short of expectations. On a recent take-out experience, the food had to sit in the lobby for 20 minutes before being ready, and it was still cold when received."

"This was our first time to eat here today and it was great!!!! The food was hot and fresh!!!! The colored nachos were amazing and the Red Bird Sandwich was excellent. Love the spiced fries!!!! Our waitress (Stacie) made a great job, never had an empty glass. Will definitely be back."

"Quite possibly one of the easiest 5 star reviews I have ever written. Ordering was very easy at the counter, and food came out quick. Note that there is no service at this restaurant, other than food being brought to your table, it is all self service. Iordered a two meats combo with brisket and a half chicken, Mac and cheese, French fries, and spicy slaw. Each of these items wasfantastic, the meats were fresh and flavorful, and not dry. The sides were all wonderful as well, and clearly made in house,this was especially evident with the creaminess of the Mac and cheese (not Kraft! . There is a little condiment bar with rawonions, pickles, and Jalapeños, and each table had an assortment of homemade BBQ sauces. The sauces were all great andcomplemented the food well. The employees were very pleasant and professional, the food came out quick, and it was veryreasonably priced. Overall, I would highly recommend stopping by when you're in Denver!"

"It’s always great my bartender makes me wonderful Raspberry LIT… my first experience was not one to write about but Trudy made it amazing… the bartenders on that shift were horrible they made horrible drinks and had the attitude to match I say that to say that they were so horrible 2 girls mid day that I almost never returned bc they were so nasty and dismissive. That was Aug. 2021…and before Jeff… fast forward each time I have came in I’ve been serviced by the same bartender and he’s been amazing each and every time! Last time the owner delivered my food and I could see pride as he placed the beautiful plates! I’m sure Jeff was my server/bartender and he was amazing and is every visit no matter how busy!!! On my day off I plan a visit there to sit, take in the atmosphere, on my mommy daughter date… they never disappoint. Hidden gem… tucked away hit def an all around hit!!! Chicken and Pancakes are AMAZING and the mozz sticks too…. And if cam is there request his Raspberry Long Island it’s top notch!!!"

"This was my second time at Portsmouth Publick House. My first experience was fantastic easily a 4.5 star experience. Food was better than expected and service was great. We got a beer, margarita sampler thing, pork nachos, and a BBQ pizza. The drinks were great, nachos were amazing (huge portion they dump everything onto a pizza try and bake it , the pizza is huge (16” and really good. This second time, however, was less than stellar probably 3.5 stars. My wife and I stopped by the car museum down the road for a fundraiser and thought we’d grab a quick bite since we enjoyed it so much the first time. Unfortunately, the nachos this second time around were burnt and the service was a bit slow. The fried pickles and Asian dumplings were great. One thing I didn’t love (personal preference was they don’t serve Coke products (only Pepsi . As a DC addict, this was a disappointment. Our server was friendly and accommodating but didn’t check in very often. I’m sure I’ll be back but may be a little pickier with the timing and order."

The worst part is you could see the employees making it and there was so little effort it was almost like they were trying to go slow. On top of all that, the bread was stale and soggy. Save your money and go someplace else."
