"We had a 6:30 PM Sat reservation for a party of 8. The restaurant is very large with vast space between the tables so is quite comfortable. This restaurant must survive on the buffet lunch crowd and functions as it remained empty throughout the 3 hours we were there. This was also true the other 3 times I've eaten dinner there. The food, which was delicious, must have been cooked to order from scratch, as it took an hour for the first dish to arrive the breads (Nans no Poori here). Each dish was presented randomly so we were forced to share as we were famished couldn't wait for our individual dishes. I find that because each Indian dish is so distinct, people have less desire to share than at a Chinese restaurant. Unfortunately because the vegetarian dishes came out first, they were quickly devoured, leaving our vegetarians nothing but breads to eat when the meat dishes finally appeared."
