"Accidentally Vegan Friendly
I have eaten here for over a decade as a vegetarian but had not as a vegan. When I did I found the food is consistently good and omnivore visitors with us enjoyed their meals, too. 99% of the time I get take away. Staff is always friendly and cheerful. You will not find a better bargain with generous portions and reasonable/low prices. Don’t come here for atmosphere-basic surroundings, adequate seating but no ambiance.
I had called ahead and verified their beans contain no animal products. When I arrived I asked to look at the wrapper the flour tortillas come in and verified they contained no animal products. I then ordered my usual bean burrito, “no carne”, no cheese, no sour cream but veggies are ok. The cashier then, like they always do, to make sure I am happy with my order, asks me if rice is ok, tomato, lettuce, cilantro etc. Like 90 seconds later I was walking out with a custom made steaming hot bean burrito that is good for me for 2 meals. I love this place!!!"
