"I had seen the Vice Munchies episode on the Afro Brazilian Street food king, a while back and had this place bookmarked so I decided to try it. I went at lunchtime and looked at the menu, placed my order and within 15-20 minutes the food arrived. I was pretty hungry and should have asked for the empanada instantly instead of waiting for it to come out with the rest of the food. Food : I ordered the Grilled Lamb chops w/ a side of Jollof RIce and Plantains, the grilled lamb chops were smothered in some tasty mustard and cooked onions. They were very flavorful and tender, I would have liked a nice grilled crust on there but then the lamb would not have been as tender unless they cooked it to medium. The jollof rice was decent, and the sweetness of the plantains helped balance the flavors of the lamb and rice. The Chicken empanada is a nice tasty pocket of chicken tucked inside a flaky pastry type of goodness. I liked it but would like to try the others. I heard the mushroom one was good too. I ended up eating the entire plate which I rarely am able to, the portions were very good. I would recommend trying it out."
