"It was a beautiful day and I had requested a standard table. The hostess offered us a high top in the lounge! No thank you! May we sit outside? Yes. She offered us a 2-person table in the sun (there was only one other table occupied at the time). We asked for the one in the partial shade that seated four. Done. But almost every time another customer came, they were offered a table in the sun. No-one accepted it until there was no other choice. Seems to me the hostess should have asked the customers if they had a preference. We definitely felt that we were offered the least desirable option at a time when the restaurant was essentially empty (12 noon). Not a good way to start!"
