"I have always considered Albano's on Johnson Rd my go-to spot for traditional pizza. They consistently produced a great product—until now. I ordered their Masterpiece pizza and was quite disappointed. The crust, which I used to love, seemed to consist of nothing but flour and water. While the amount of toppings was generous, the sausage tasted more like hamburger than Italian sausage. Overall, the flavor of the pizza was quite bland. They might as well rename this pizza "Meat Lovers" because they piled on the meat. Normally, I enjoy this type of pizza, but with so many toppings, I expected more flavor. It was truly disappointing. I think it will be some time before I try them again. It’s a shame to lose my favorite pizza place."
