"I am so happy that I found this place. In the heart of Hoboken you can find this hidden gem. I love how affordable this place is, I love how attentive and hospitable the staff are! And the food is amazing! My favorite is the grilled skirt steak with shrimp and the mango smoothie! During my first visit I had this dish with a side of maduros, rice and beans. They have an amazing garlic sauce to pair the dish with you can ask for it on the side but make sure you add lime to the steak and the garlic sauce on top of it. The second visit my sister had the chicken with shrimp and garlic sauce it was good too. And the tres leches was great as well. You must check this place out!"

"Amazing, authentic and absolutely delicious! I have visited Puerto Rico and holy moly Jandy's food brought me right back there. The mofongo was perfectly seasoned as well as the roasted pork. The desserts were the perfect accompaniment to top off our delightful meals. Do not miss the opportunity to get some sweet corn rolls. These cheese filled treats are a must have! We will definitely return ?"

"The staff was eager to make a sale, but they didn’t communicate to us women that dining in the restaurant incurs a higher cost compared to takeout. We only learned this after we had already seated ourselves, while the men who came in afterward were informed about it. Please avoid advertising Puerto Rican food when it doesn’t reflect the true essence of our cuisine."

"There was a guy sitting in a table and harassing 2 young women celebrating a birthday there. He was drunk, spoke loud, and he was constantly talking. It seems that the guy is a well-known clientele from the restaurant when the waiter was familiar with him. He's supposed to lower his voice, but I would have kicked the girl out of the restaurant because of the harassment. That was the only thing that disturbed our experience."

"a few of the evil was that kicking with the mofongo even that the mofongo kicking was terrible. the empanadas were a good guy. the chuleta can turn off and the arroz con gandules too. read ara ñitas like are in the middle. they were 8 of us, and we have a hurry and a lot of EAT."

"Excellent food very excellent prices. No frills no gimmicks just delicious food that I would think is fairly authentic. I love the maduros here I like that they don't use syrups to make it sweet like most other places do. But it is cash only here so bring some but you won't need a ton which is rare for the area of fancy hipster places this place should be more packed but it seems like they do a ton of delivery business."

"Had a great brunch here! Everything was delicious. I was pleasantly surprised how good the pulled pork was in the cornbread waffle entree. The restaurant itself is very cute and has indoor and outdoor seating. Service was great the food came out very quickly. Would definitely go back."

"read many reviews about this place so didn't really know what to expect but we had a great time and the food was good cocktails came quickly, food took a bit of time but they gave us chips and salsa to hold us over the appetizers were really good and filling and shortly after we got our entrees servings are large and delicious, had the Churrasco, steak was super tender and the garlic sauce was delish, tostones were crispy and the rice and beans also really good. music volume was perfect, not too loud and the staff was very efficient and professional. we had a great time and would recommend it."

"The host/ security and including restaurant owner, customer service is very poor. It was our first time dining there super excited about it — all the excitement was cut short due to the way we were greeted and treated. The owner had an attitude when approached regarding a minors ID issue—-which shows a tremendous lack of professionalism, responded with attitude in front of other customers, rather than being calm and collected.Furthermore, the food could’ve been so muchhh better quality wise. It sounded so good on the menu but while eating, I couldn’t even finish my dish. Rice was dry and hard, steak with onions didn’t taste fresh. Waiters were good and attentive I give them that. Everything else needs improvement for sure."
