"We were not staying in the resort and just wanted a nice place to eat and so we booked through OpenTable because it was one of the few places (to a certain standard) available at the time. I don't know if that has anything to do with it, but when we showed up expecting to get a seat at least somewhere in the vicinity of the nice outdoor seat in the patio area, we were instead taken to a seat way back in the in the bar. To make matters worse, the communication amongst the staff seemed to be poor because it took a very long time for anyone to acknowledge us, and then a long time after that to even get menus, a very long time to get drinks, and a very long time to pay at the end. That said, every time we did interact with the staff, they were all earnest and polite and our main waitress was very nice and helpful. The food was delicious across the board, and the poke sashimi was soooper tasty. It could have been a great overall experience, but the service left a bad taste in our mouths even though the food did not. Plenty of other people in the main patio area seemed to get good service."
