"I've had many good experiences at the Ribbon throughout the years, and was therefore not expecting the bad experience of last night. The oysters were horrendous tasting like milk, and at $3.25 per oyster, where would they have been from? A pork sandwhich was just as balnd, the fries looked to be frozen and not fresh cut; the beer list is awful no craft beers at all; the shrimp absolutely awful small, translucent and slimey. The brussel srpout app was way undercooked. The overall impression was that no one is minding the store and quality control has fallen off of a cliff. No one seems to care felt like eating at a bad mall restaurant. Unpleasant and disinterested staff as well. Won't go back."

"have taken the bus right at the corner of Al's for more than a year, never had a chance to try food there because they are closed when I go around 7 and I come home late. recently I noticed that the lights are early I always smell garlic roasts when I walk at the side door. Finally, in a morning, although they were opened at 8 and was treated like family, by whom I believe the owner son. Now I get coffee every morning and the cook is more than happy to stop what he does to make me coffee and ask me what is new. great breakfast and very nice young cook."

"Honestly, the only reason I keep going back is because of the proximity of it. I can only speak for their breakfast sandwiches, which are 1/5 taken into consideration what they are priced for. I purposely do not order sandwiches and go for their omelette station instead, but today I chose to give it ?another try?. I ordered a toasted bagel with cream cheese and bacon. For a $4.25 sandwich I expected it to be toasted and come with more than a tsp of cream cheese. This bagel isnot worth me having someone else make it. I can understand that some people don?t like ?too much? cream cheese, but the whole premise of the bagel I?m ordering IS the cream cheese. This did it for me, and aside from the pleasant cashiers,there?s nothing remotely good or great about this place. This will be the last time I come here to order any breakfast."

"On our quest to find the best burgers in LA, we tried Shaka Shack and were not disappointed. I had their basic Shaka burger and it was delicious. Cooked to order--medium rare. Served with lettuce, tomato, and their special sauce. Definitely a 4 napkin, juicy burger. The staff was friendly and helpful. Next time, I'm going for their double Shaka--two 1/3 lb. burgers. In keeping with Covid protocols, they offer indoor and outdoor seating."
