"I'm not a huge barbecue guy, but I decided to check this place out recently and was pleasantly surprised with the food. Barbecue food always seems a bit expensive to me, but if you're in the area and in the mood, I think this place is definitely worth checking out. The dining room was never packed but also had a steady stream of dine in customers and pick up orders. My wife is a seafood fan so I bought her the fish and shrimp dinner; she wasn't impressed. I for one will continue to visit this business when I'm in the area and in the mood for a pulled pork barbecue sandwich."

"The wife and I try new restaurants every chance we get, and decide if they're worth going back to. Tom's BBQ is on a very short list we've been going to for decades. My personal favorite, rib tips and potato chips extra crispy. The wife loves the catfish with red beans and rice. Our favorite employee Billie is a hoot. Treats everyone like family. The rest of the staff are great, never had a problem with anything."

"Love the bbq items from here but the Catfish Plate is not where its at. Catfish felt undercooked or something, gelatinous in texture. No tartar sauce or lemon provided like stated in the menu. Catfish without tartar sauce is a crime :"

"Ordered the rib tips $15) and they were all fat and cartilage as in I couldn't even cut any meat off them.I told the girl at the counter that it wasn't good at all and if I can trade it for something else.She asked do you mean without paying for it? I said you know like what a normal restaurant would do if you weren't happy with your meal. She said we normally just remake it. I said it's all cut from the same ribs right ahe said yes so I asked wouldn't I basically get the same thing. She looked DUMBFOUNDED so I just said forget it. Tossed the plate in the trash and told her I'll be writing a Yelp review. Absolutely zero response from here. Terrible food Terrible service.After a few minutes I went up to the girl and asked her if ahe has a manager here or someone in charge that handles things like this. Again, dumbfounded and asked again if I wanted it recooked I said a refund would be nice. After a minute or so she said ok I can give you a refund. I asked why didn't you offer that initially, she didn't know."
