"it's been 20 years since we've eaten here last, so they give the place five stars for toughness. I am, however, quite sure that the place has not been rebuilt for at least so long. it is dark and dry in the inner, the furniture is old. the art of old, which does not make them want to touch the chairs. if the customer dining areas look like this, you can't help but wonder how the kitchen has to look, because cleanliness does not seem to be a primary consideration. in the did the inner city of panino has the same dark and old problems. that said eating was okay. the main rib was tender, but overcooked (I ordered it medium,) but there was no trace of pink in the plate that I was served. it was dreadfully under-heated, served without searettich, and seemed pre-packed, pre-cooked and only warmed in the kitchen. it was only missing the typical spicy crust and rich taste of a good urn. the lasagne was excellent. good wise. very good. I had a simple martini on the rocks, but could not say if there was actually wodka, as it tasted like mostly water. Despite the decoration (or lack of it) and the feeling that it is more sanitary to stand and eat instead of sitting, the lasagne could simply be the redeeming ding that brings me back into this otherwise unwell, painfully old, dirty appearing colorado springs iconic Italian restaurant."
