"Finally started going out to dinner. Was in the city to see my son and visit my old neighborhood. Just happened to see aunt Jakes on open table read the reviews, saw the food prices and decided to give it a try. This restaurant is by far one of the best I have ever eaten in. The service was amazing the food more amazing not to say that the service wasn’t that amazing LOL. The prices and value was off the charts. Huge delicious portions great wine selection and I can’t wait to make my next reservation and bring other people there. Now I to be aunt Jake’s official uncle"

"This place forgot everything that was extra that I ordered and then I tried to order from them the next day and the owner's wife scolded me for it. Screw this place, their pies aren't even that good (way under cooked) and I'm a professional pizza maker if that means anything to you"

"I’d consider their Brooklyn-style pie to be my absolute favorite pizza around. if you get it, avoid the sicilian variety because the extra crust doesn’t help. magic in the sauce and fresh mozzarella. as for their plain pizza, it’s nothing too special. classic Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $1–10 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4"

"I'm very disappointed, I loved their pizza and now it is subpar quality. I don't if it changed hands but I don't recognize the workers. With that said Grandma is always good, Heroes and the dinners. The Neapolitan is a disappointment though. I will still order dinners etc. but not the pie. Quite frankly once I start going to another pizza place I'll also try out other dishes."

"Just had Johnny Pies do some catering for my daughter's birthday party last weekend. Johnny Pies has become our go to place for pizza (vodka pizza is awesome) and decided to have them cook for us! So glad we did. The owner and staff did such a great job, my guest's and I really enjoyed not only the quality of the food, but the price as well. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great Italian food and pizza!"
