"Hotel Lobby has a nice ambiance. The menu is limited at this location as it is small and in Manhattan. The food is also all more expensive at this location than in NJ. I ordered the Tomato mozzarella on baguette and the ?house made fresh mozzarella? was firstly melted, which was unexpected and confusing, and secondly tasted very strongly of oak smoke and salmon. It must have been stored with the lox. The pesto was too salty but otherwise quite pleasant and seemed like itwas made with quality olive oil, though I did not notice any pine nut or walnut. The tomato was a bland and pale, but that may be due to the season. Very unpleasant sandwich over all. The baked goods are all very artisanal and well made, but if you can, definitely go to one of the locations outside of the city. And if you must go to this location, buy the baked goods and prepare your own accoutrements."
