"This is a wonderful coffee shop and bake house! They have some of the best coffee and pastries. I’m a dedicated customer and I regularly drive an hour from my home to have coffee and breakfast here. I was really excited to order my wedding cake from here too, but unfortunately they weren’t very responsive. Replies to my inquiry typically took about 3 weeks and I waited over 2 months to receive an invoice to finalize my order. After following up and receiving no response I decided to go with another baker with better customer service. So I recommend them for their great coffee and food, but I don’t recommend ordering for a special event. Edit for clarity: I first emailed Alchemy on September 19th, 2021. The initial response was very quick on September 20th. I responded and did not receive another email until October 10th. Once again I responded and did not receive another reply until November 5th. During this time I did try to call and I went into the shop, but was told that they were too busy to talk with me. I finally received another response on November 6th, 2021 and we finalized the details and I was told I would receive an invoice and follow up from them within 4 weeks. They did not follow up or send the invoice and I reached back out on January 3rd. After not hearing anything since November and not receiving any follow up, confirmation, or an invoice and after several attempts of emailing and getting no response I finally cancelled my order on January 16th and as of today, February 12th they have finally cancelled it and responded to me via this review."
