"We ate here for the first time recently and were pleasantly surprised. The decor felt like a more typical NJ Mexican place so we weren't sure what to expect. The food however speaks clearly of family. You can tell they are making the food and doing so with home cooking style. The staff are friendly and helpful, however, the service is slow. This is in part due to the large number of take out orders. And also because they are clearly cooking the food as it's ordered. We were very happy with our dishes, the Chile relleno was tasty, the chicken fajitas was great and ample. We loved the homemade guac and warm tortillas and the truly spicy salsa picante. A definite place to go."

"Aloha Horhitos!Hey, if you guys can update your hours on Google and any other websites or social media 's platforms, so that the people in your Kihei community don 't waste gas coming to order food, and then you guys are closed.On Google it says your open at 10am, but when I went this morning, you guys were closed. Then I see the sign on your truck saying 11:00am is when your open, and I wasted gas for nothing.Keeping up to date with hours of operation IS importante. ????Also, your phone number is out of order, so no one can call and request a pick-up order. "I have ordered food from this restaurant 6 times. I have never eaten inside. My boyfriend and I always get the birria tacos and sometimes get the consume. It has never disappointed us. Every time I ask for special requests for my tacos, such as no onions, they have always gotten it right. The service is always quick, the ingredients are fresh and of high quality, and the staff at the counter is friendly. I highly recommend it. Parking is available on site but limited, with plenty of neighborhood street parking around."
