"I used to really love going to the buffet here. It was really good. They recently moved and I think they changed kitchen staff. The buffet now is super meat heavy. Almost all the vegetarian dishes had cheese in them. We also ordered a la cart a few months ago. The taste and the quality of the food seems to have diminished. In an area with lots of Indian restaurants, vegetarians and vegans can try something much better. Taj Grill, Star of India and Jewel of India are a few."

"3 Years and Counting. Since I moved to Buffalo three years ago, I have been going to Star of India in Kenmore. The family that runs it is SO nice, welcoming and kind. The food is outstanding, I've never had a bad meal. My suggestions are the chicken makhani, any of the saag, garlic naan is a great starter, and the lamb is AMAZING. Best Indian in all of Buffalo/NF hands down."

"Overall the food was very good except that it was a bit salty. We ordered lamb vindaloo and chicken aasala with garlic Naan and tandoori chicken. You need to pay for the water $1 bottle of water , no water provided. I felt this way was safer and had no problem paying $1 for the water. The portion was big so that I had to have another curry for the dinner. After I put veges at home for my dinner, it was well seasoned to my taste. You must try tandoori chicken and recommended menus there. If you like spicy, they can make it very spicy. They didn't do a buffet at the time I visited!"
