"Nice Afternoon. My husband and I stopped in to Mexicali early afternoon on a Friday. We waited a bit to be served, but once we received our cadillac margaritas, we knew we were in a great spot. The extra spicy habanero salsa was great (but what's with the extra $0.75 for it? We had the lobster tacos which were decent (apparently Rachel Ray's favorite dish maybe she wasn't quite on her game that day , and the blue crab and shrimp quesadilla which had more heavy cheese than crab or shrimp. The best part of the afternoon was meeting a couple of the regulars at the bar, who were very interesting and informative. We especially enjoyed talking with Alfonzo, a regular who received his beer and app without even having to order. The bartenders were attentive and we appreciated their help in finding something fun to do that evening. All in all it was a very nice afternoon and we will certainly come back for another round at Mexicali."

"We arrived on a Saturday night and found this place to be quite packed, but were lucky to find enough places at the bar where we could squeeze in. Once we've set ourselves, we'll be greeted by a waiter, and then a few minutes after the shift manager and took care of really well. It was nice to see the service on point when the facility looked like it had about maximum capacity. As for the food all burgers we ordered came to perfection! I remember ordering the Kobe Burger and the result? The Kobe Burger is one of the best Kobe Burgers I've ever had! They also have a quite solid selection of beers, craft beers and liqueurs as well!"

"This place went above and beyond to make sure that my family were very comfortable, very well fed and very well taken care of. The different broths are very tasty. The meat and veggie quality was superb. They have an all you can eat and an all you can eat and drink option with a ton of choices besides just regular servings. Definitely my go-to spot for shabu shabu in Sacramento from now on."

"I have had no worse experience with hotpot place than this one. Because of the front lady was extremely rude. Me and my partner arrived and we were right behind an asian couple. like one step behind because they cut in front of us outside the stairs. The front desk lady greeted them, handed them the menu. "Fabulous burgers, great regular fries sweet potato fries. Gelato is amazing, we tried the Coffee Chocolate chip, Salted Caramel, Mint Chocolate Chip the chocolate every one of them were delicious. "The best Shabu in town now has a second location! I'm all for him bigger space, more tables and free parking. We came to dinner on Thursday night and we beat dinner. With the AYCE option you can definitely earn your money. I liked the Kobe cattle and fish the most. Combine this with some radish noodles (Fair Oaks exclusive! and cabbage, dipped in Ponzu sauce, and I'm ready for the night. The service was also on the spot. You often check enough to get all the refills you want, but not too much to disturb you. Not to mention the green tea ice at the end! It is the perfect sweet and cold way to finish this meal. Heat Shabu never disappoints. If you've never had Shabu, you have to try it here for the first time. If you have other Shabu, don't live until you have Heat Shabu!"

"There is an impressive variety of broths, each with its own unique flavor. I tried the miso broth, which had a mild spiciness, and it perfectly complemented the drink made with various brews. The ribeye was absolutely delicious, but I couldn’t resist adding a small order of beef brisket as well.
