"I was hanging out with my friend, and we chose HOBNOB because they had fish&chips (that's all I wanted).My friend ordered the meatloaf dish.Our waitress was great! She was so attentive and made sure we were taken care of. The fish&chips... in my opinion, the portion didn't match the price. I get that we're in a recession, and the price of everything has gone up. However, $22 for two very small pieces of fish and a skimpy serving of fries was wild to me. I had to ask for extra fries. I mean... at least they seasoned the fries, I guess.My friend was underwhelmed with the meatloaf dish."

"Jackson is an up-and-coming food city. There have always been good eats here, and Pig Pint is an example of how the city's food scene is progressing. The set up of the restaurant reminds me of an Austin BBQ restaurant, but the taste is all Mississippi. All pork items are the exceptional choices here. You get good slow cooked meat that is not over glazed with gross, sticky BBQ sauce from a store. They also feature the best beers from New Orleans, Jackson and Memphis on tap."

"There were 4 of us. We all had different meals, from steak to seafood. All meals were delicious, service was excellent. There were not many patrons, so that may have helped us get better service. The view of the MS Gulf Coast from the windows at 9th floor CQ is superb. It's sad that there is so much concrete left on the south side Hwy 90, on which nothing has been developed since Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Now, it's just a place for 18-wheelers and the like to park. What a shame."

"I'm vacationing in Seaside and wanted some pizza, so I found this local restaurant. I was impressed that they had Vegan Violife cheese but wasn't impressed with the prices. A medium pizza with cheese was $16.00, and each topping you wanted to add was a $2.00 charge. My parents got two large meat lovers pizzas, which were basically cardboard with little to no sauce and tiny pepperoni; the only good part was the sausage. The total for the 2 large pizzas and 1 medium vegan pizza equaled $95.00. I tried to call the restaurant multiple times, and each time, it went to a dial tone, and I guess this is because the restaurant has only one phone line. Thoroughly not impressed and will not be back or recommend it to anyone. I would, however, highly recommend Brozinni Pizzeria."

"44 beers on tap and they sure do take pride in their menu. Not many spots have good sours or ciders but their collection of ALL kinds of beer made it Impossible to choose. My flight was tasty, the BBQ crostini and chicken skewers were the best thing I've had in Biloxi all trip. The falafel was dry and tasteless unfortunately, but why bother with So many other amazing options. The customer service and food and beer were all memorable and worth visiting. Staff here is very knowledgeable, kind, and can recite their menu recipe to you which shows pride in their craftsmanship. We planned on bar hopping but that got cancelled when we saw their beer list. My favorite spot during my 2 week trip here. Wish we had one at home."

"Excellent local spot for a bite to eat. Stopped in at the height of the lunch hour no tables available but the bar was wide open. The bartender (Cassi) did an awesome job hustling behind the bar. She kept up on our drinks, got our orders correct, and was very pleasant without going overboard. Even with the busy rush she stayed on top of things. Being a cold and rainy day when we were there, soup and a sandwich was perfect for warming us up. The Cheddar Ale soup was excellent as were the Bourbon Melt and the Hot Chicken sandwiches we had to go with it. The bar was fine to sit at and a great option given how busy the place it. There were two people who were waiting for a table when we came, and were still waiting when we came out almost an hour later."

"While in a new place my mantra is to taste local brews. Had one of the local craftsmen beers Abita and was satisfied with it. I regret that I don't see the name of recording an image. Most came to sit on the balcony and overlook the streets and views and take a break from our NOLA adventures. Bartender was really cool and knows many local culture and events, had great recommendations from various local bars."
