"I was hanging out with my friend, and we chose HOBNOB because they had fish&chips (that's all I wanted).My friend ordered the meatloaf dish.Our waitress was great! She was so attentive and made sure we were taken care of. The fish&chips... in my opinion, the portion didn't match the price. I get that we're in a recession, and the price of everything has gone up. However, $22 for two very small pieces of fish and a skimpy serving of fries was wild to me. I had to ask for extra fries. I mean... at least they seasoned the fries, I guess.My friend was underwhelmed with the meatloaf dish."

"Jackson is an up-and-coming food city. There have always been good eats here, and Pig Pint is an example of how the city's food scene is progressing. The set up of the restaurant reminds me of an Austin BBQ restaurant, but the taste is all Mississippi. All pork items are the exceptional choices here. You get good slow cooked meat that is not over glazed with gross, sticky BBQ sauce from a store. They also feature the best beers from New Orleans, Jackson and Memphis on tap."

"The food was good! We got a large pizza, baked spaghetti, and pepperoni rolls. I personally wasn?t a fan of the pepperoni rolls because they have very THICK pepperoni, which I loved on the pizza, but wasn?t crazy about in that form. The sauce they served with the rolls was fabulous! The twist breadsticks were amazing as well. Definitely would get that again."

"This place is great! The drinks, the food and the service were all AMAZING! The outdoor atmosphere was great and the music selection was also great! If you are here for lunch, ask for Johnny!!! She's the best server/garden I've had for some time. My friend and I are both in the service industry, so we know great service when we have it. "Excellent local spot for a bite to eat. Stopped in at the height of the lunch hour no tables available but the bar was wide open. The bartender (Cassi) did an awesome job hustling behind the bar. She kept up on our drinks, got our orders correct, and was very pleasant without going overboard. Even with the busy rush she stayed on top of things. Being a cold and rainy day when we were there, soup and a sandwich was perfect for warming us up. The Cheddar Ale soup was excellent as were the Bourbon Melt and the Hot Chicken sandwiches we had to go with it. The bar was fine to sit at and a great option given how busy the place it. There were two people who were waiting for a table when we came, and were still waiting when we came out almost an hour later."

"While in a new place my mantra is to taste local brews. Had one of the local craftsmen beers Abita and was satisfied with it. I regret that I don't see the name of recording an image. Most came to sit on the balcony and overlook the streets and views and take a break from our NOLA adventures. Bartender was really cool and knows many local culture and events, had great recommendations from various local bars."
