"it was years since we visited Angelas. I knew it was different from the last time I visited, so I gave it another try. wow! my chicken franchise was divine. so many restaurants do not take the time to beat the hawn thin or they apply too hard of a teig. it was perfect and with the right amount of lemon. my mother ordered chicken alfredo and loved it too. it had a deep taste that they did not often find. the house salad was large enough to share two people. at the suggestion of the manager we did exactly that and it was fresh and the perfect size. look forward to the return and support of this local restaurant!"

"We couldn't find the restaurant on our GPS, but read it on the web. We had to call them three times before we finally found them. Time was worth it! The food was wonderful and the service and the atmosphere was great!!! I wish they had a location in Ohio. We visit every time we come to Charlotte and if you live here and have not tried, you should!!!!"

"First time here. We saw a review on facebook and decided to try it out. Very small place but cute. We walked in and was left standing not knowing if we sit ourself and there were several tables that needed to be cleaned off. An elderly lady looked at us and did not acknowledge us so I said, shall we seat ourselfs? The lady was the owner Angela, which seemed like she was taking orders, serving and making food. We sat down with no menus and my husband had to get up and go to the counter and Angela just said can I help you? Wow. We never even got our water until 1/2 hour later. We sat at a table next to the womens bathroom and the area smelled a little of sewer which was not enjoyable. Finally she took our order. We ordered a small pepperoni pizza and shared a antipasta salad which was very good and the pizza was good. My hubby ordered to go an sausage pepper sandwich. The sandwich not so good. It was very salty and the sausage tasted old. Service was extremely slow. We are not sure if we will give it another try or not based on our experience."

"Our family loves this little gem in downtown Big Bear. Serving great soups, salads, and sandwiches for every pallette (carnivore, vegetarian and vegan), the home-baked bread and bagels, coffee drinks, wine, beer and smoothies hit the spot for a day of shopping and after skiing as the traffic tapers. Move quickly from slopes to Amangela's because they close at 5pm. Try the French Dip sandwich on their hoagie roll! Amazing!"
