"We had a wonderful meal at Countryman's Pleasure on a recent trip to Vermont; we had not been there in almost 30 years! The ambience is cozy and romantic, and the service from our server and manager Kim was friendly and attentive. The food is an update on classic German/European cooking, beautifully prepared and delicious, with a fireplace at the center of the room. Chef Nicole came out to greet us as well. And then something happened that cemented our relationship with CP: someone took my coat by mistake with my car keys in it on a bitter cold night. Everyone scrambled to try to locate the customer, and they even offered to give us a ride back to our hotel while we waited to have the mistake figured out! Luckily, he returned within 15 minutes and all was fine. Highly recommend to anyone in the area looking to escape the touristy mass-production of the Killington Access Road!"
