"I really wish I could rate it higher. But when both the food and wait times are lacking, something 's got to give.I was excited to try my first St. Louis barbecue and was just a little hungry--I didn 't want a huge meal with sides and a basket of bread. So their menu looked perfect to me--two different varieties of mini sliders and even individual ribs for $3. I sat on the patio and ordered the brisket sliders and one rib. I was asked if I wanted the spicy or sweet barbecue sauce on the side, and opted for spicy. The food came out rather quickly. It was the first time in my life I had tasted tough brisket. What a disappointment. Brisket should be fatty, salty, soft to chew. This was stringy and dry. I dipped it in the sauce, which was good, but couldn 't save the meat. I did love the garlic-toasted bun. I hoped the rib might be better, since the menu had called it falling off the bone. Unfortunately, GNAWING off the bone was the best I could do. That piece of meat wasn 't worth $3.My server was at first very friendly and attentive, but when they checked on me at the end of my meal, I said I 'd like the check as soon as they were able. Fifteen minutes later the check was brought, and ten minutes after that my card was returned. I actually took the receipt with the tip inside because I hadn 't seen my server in ages and needed to catch a bus (I 'd already missed one).I used their restroom while I was inside. They are very spacious and clean.I wanted to return on a hungrier day and try their pork steak, but I 'm not sure I want to spend $20 if the meat will be the same quality this was. In a city known for its BBQ, they 're going to have to step it up."

"I 'm a first time Pulsd customer and purchased the $29 deal for two: 90 mins bottomless brunch with 1 entree for each at Gallo Nero 3. A friend ordered French toast $14 and added bacon for an addl $4. Note that the pulsd deal includes 2 entrées from the full brunch menu (up to $18 value each). At this point, we had an $18 entrée as $14 (French toast) $4 (bacon) $18. Instead of charging us the correct amount, they added on another $4 because the pusld deal states that an entrée can be valued up to $18. Does that make sense to any of you? It sure didn 't to me. To make matters worse, the toast was burnt! As for my entrée, steak and eggs, the eggs were cooked perfectly. The steak on the other hand was absolutely pathetic. A thin, dry piece of cardboard. Who would serve that at a restaurant? Now, let 's talk about the bottomless part of this brunch. I don 't know about you guys, but the **** Mary 's I 've received in the past always come with a stick of celery at a minimum! Here at Gallo Nero 3 they serve their watered down tomato juice with an unsightly lemon wedge. My friend ordered a Bellini but what received was definitely not that. That 's all I have to say about that. After a disappointing brunch, we asked for the check and lo and behold, things got worse! They tacked on an additional 20% service charge for no apparent reason! The deal didn 't mention anything about this either! So, we ended up paying a total of $55 thanks to Pulsd. To summarize, buyers of the Pulsd deal and people who were thinking about eating here, BEWARE. You have been warned. You 'd think Pulsd would fully vet these restaurants before offering deals ... Why is it at the expense of the customer? Shame on you Pulsd. P.S. The only reason why I gave this place a star, is because of their eggs. $55 for perfect eggs. Sounds like a good deal, right? P.S.S. The owner wrote back to me and I have to say, I am even more disappointed with this establishment. See Yelp Review."
