"Our friends have been talking about this place for years, and we're trying now. I'm not sure what took us so long! This place makes me guess most of my five star ratings, because there must be some way to give this place the creditworthiness it deserves. Daphne is really a five-star rating! We had both the fried pimples, groupers, Hush puppies, salad with ranch and twice baked potato. Oh, and the apple fritter(? and ice cream were amazing! The ambience is cozy and soothing in the restaurant. The decor can feel at home. Our waitress was on everything for us; our dishes were removed as soon as we finished eating, our drinks were refilled on about halfway brand and the kitchen made us some delicious food! The owner is very friendly and has a great sense of humor! We will return soon!"
