"We shared the lamb meatballs appetizer. We asked for the shredded bread, and they graciously gave that to us, which was great with the meatballs. We both got the Amish chicken--it was nice and moist, and very flavorful. We got glasses of the Jackson Estates cabernet. All in all an excellent meal. We went early (5 PM) because of coronavirus concerns, and it was nice and quiet. Server was very helpful answering questions. To top it off, we took some of the chicken home, and they gave us extras shredded bread as well to take home. How nice is that?"

"Nice and nostalgic place. This is the only reason for 2 stars. I really don't have much to say. Let's start with the fact that the room was dirty. There was garbage on the floor next to the bed of an earlier guest. Secondly, I am disappointed with their customer service capabilities. The older woman who checks you in and out in the morning is so fake. She puts on these high pitch voices that I want to roll my eyes out of my head. It's not real at all. There was also a younger man. He had a question about something, and her answer was that she showed her true colors. Before me she said to this other worker, Ugh, I just showed you how to do that. I don't know how many times I have to show you. Her voice changed completely into a lower Huseton in this response to him. I really don't need Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde to write me in and out. I will point out that this boy has worked all day before. It looks like they can't get any workers. I think she's one of the reasons. The last problem is that from last year I had a reservation for my sister's wedding so that our rooms would be closer. They're stuck on the other side of the guest house. Why also a reservation? It was also quite expensive for what we actually got. I'm not back."
