"Good stunning design/location. Service friendly, knowledgeable and pleasant. Food was pretty good but maybe not quite worth the cost idk maybe just not my taste plated aesthetically well but some dishes had better flavors than others. Only complaints the charge for water $5 each for me and my son, in addition to our drinks) and the drink pours were very small light in comparison to cost. $18 for a very exact looking 5oz pour of Pinot noir was underwhelming. The hotel itself was wonderful but the restaurant not quite all it could be."

"Great location, but found it overpriced for what you have. Had a breakfast sandwich and asked to keep the bread. I have two scrambled eggs with cheese for $14. In Venice, most places are overpriced and you pay for the great location near the ocean, but that was a new level of overpriced."

"Coalfire on Southport is one of my favorite places in the area. It is great pizza at a solid price point. It is hard to find a place with both great food great atmosphere, but this place fits the bill. I would highly recommend sitting at the bar in front of the pizza ovens. It is fun to watch the kitchen staff work their magic.Food: 5/5"

"All workers were incredibly nice. Too bad the limited menu and lack of adjustability by the kitchen brings the restaurant down. Portions were small and pricing high. Quality of food was ho-hum--nothing special, but above diner level for sure. Lovely setting and no problem parking."

"I didn't have the food, but if it's as wonderful as the people, service and warm atmosphere, it has to be good! I reached out to them for ADA accommodation and they were terrific. "The service was amazing, they let us know the food would take a little longer, but never weren't there when we needed them. Nduja pizza was awesome, and they weren't short on delicious vegetarian pies! Extensive wine and beer list, I only wish they delivered to rogers park!"
