"Hands down the worst Turkish food we've ever eaten. My husband and I love Turkish food we've been to Istanbul multiple times, and order regularly from a different spot on the UES. Prior to ordering, I called the restaurant, and asked if the chicken in the Sultans Delight hunkar beğendı was chicken breast/white meat. The gentleman on the phone responded that it was, and it was chicken shish kebab . Unfortunately, the repulsive mass of DARK meat ROTISSERIE !!! chicken that I received proved otherwise. Additionally, my husband's Doner Kebab was tasteless, the zucchini pancakes were soggy and equally bland, and the Lentil Soup was also disappointing. So to sum it up, we were lied to about the chicken I never would have ordered, had I been told it was dark meat , and the remaining dishes were tasteless and soggy. We will never be ordering from Lezzet again."
