"Our experience at Casa Vicenzo was disappointing. After hearing good reports from others and seeing a better than average rating here on Open Table, I was excited to experience the place. Casa Vicenzo is located in the location of the old Buona Vida on Pier Avenue in Hermosa Beach, which after my last visit before the conclusion I had praised never to come back. The location is PRIME and restaurants nearby are usually very good and desirable to visit. My party visited a Monday evening that probably talked at least about how incredibly slow things were this night and why the restaurant offers free corkage on Monday, but for an evening with only 3 or 4 tables of customers the service was only average. I found the menu on the snow-covered side, which is sometimes the case in Pier Avenue restaurants, as they focus on doing less items extremely than in contrast to the restaurants serving pages of dishes served only on average in any way. I ordered the **** that our waiter showed was his favorite. When I heard that, I was encouraged, but after taking my plate, I found a decent pork chop served on garlic potatoes and covered with white severity. The court seemed more southern breakfast than Italian fare. Other ordered seafood pasta dishes that they were displayed well, but no one rave over each of them. To dessert, the table Casa Vicenza's version of Tiramisu, which arrived in a seal glass, but the tasted great and was the highlight of the meal."
