We got there before our 12pm reservation on March 8th, 2020, and was randomly got seated by this person who was not even the hostess. She told us to “seat wherever we wanted.” We wanted to change our table to this other empty table which then we asked our server Kristen if it’s possible and she said no because its already booked for someone else. "I cannot recommend this place at this time. Not only will they charge $50 if you cancel your reservation, but also they will also change the reservation condition without telling you. When my party arrived, they notified us they are not serving any food (even though they advertised as such). It would have been nice to notify our party in advance instead of wasting time getting there (valet if applicable). Then you have to scramble around the city looking for another place to eat since you didn't make another reservation. Also in this case, valet did not care you did not stay, and that they did not hold up their end of the reservation. They will make you pay full price. Update: they were able to reimburse for the valet eventually."

"1). the building requires a keyfob to use the elevator and we could not get up to our reservation because the security was not there and they did not answer the phone. 2. we finally came up 30 minutes after our reservation began when someone came down who worked in the building. 3. no feeling of urgency and would probably still sit there if we had not taken the waitress attention l 347 of 20.12.2013, p. 1). Drinks and eat were delicious, but there were haare on several dressed and a lipstick spot on the 1st glass we received. overall I have no desire to go back."

"Don’t miss this place in Nashville. Book the supper club and get there early to see the rooftop. Beautiful place and the food is even better. We did the pot stickers and Sam’s famous noodles. Then got the butterscotch angel cake dessert. All were 11/10’s and I’m picky! Reasonably priced too for the area. We got sat at the oyster bar and the staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back!"

"I’m sad to write this because republic has been one of my favorite places and I’ve always liked there vibe and how friendly they are but yesterday night we were treated so bad by the security he was really rude and disrespectful he checked our IDs and as soon as we were about to walk in he stop my friend just because he was wearing Jordan’s but yet let someone in front of us that was wearing Jordan’s go in and I asked how come he could go in and not my friend and he was rude about it and told my mom look at the clothes dress code and my mom said I can’t read that sorry and he was rude and told her look do you not see or what and my mom was respectful towards him and said sorry I just can’t see because I don’t have my glasses and just said thank you and walked away and he proceeded to laugh and start talking smack it sad to have workers like that for such a fun place full of friendly people, he could’ve been nicer and explain to us the dress code for whenever we visited next time. But I hope something is done about that security."

"We had an absolute blow here! Our group is from Austin and we were looking for a place that was unique from the city. Management was so thoughtful and accommodating when I informed by e-mail that we had a day party on a Sunday. They brought the cake with sparkling and set a beer pong/flip table for the group. The crab cakes were amazing and the bartenders were nice enough to experiment with a few mosque tail combos for me. The rest of the group definitely enjoyed their mimosas! Great experience!"

We were disappointed by the high $35 corkage fee for bringing our own wine. Although we mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary, we were surprised that we did not receive a complimentary dessert, which is something we typically expect. Overall, it was a nice dining experience with a beautiful view."

"I took some out of town guests here at 6PM...it was all fine, except we were the only people there. This was a hot late night place. So if your adult CHILDREN are in town and want someplace to go, this would be the ticket. We had a perfectly nice evening, but I knew the moment we got in there, that it wasn 't for tourists. Service was slow an inattentive, but for them it was like mid-afternoon! Beauitiful interior design and ambience, and I can onlyl imagine what it would be like at 10PM or maybe on weekdays for cocktails."
