Shrimp was terrific, chicken tastes weird, and needed seasoning, steak was chewy veggies were great. Rice and beans perfect sangria excellent! Chef maybe perk up the chicken use a better cut of steak … but can’t deny liver the meal!!!!!"

"This review is not based on food or service, just an unpleasant recent experience. My family and I are regulars here and we are usually very content with the food and service, however on the morning of June 3rd we left the establishment very sad, confused and disappointed. My husband and I were seriously over charged for breakfast. We were each charged $22 for boiled green plantains with chuleta. So our breakfast included 2 breakfast plates of green boiled bananas with meat 2 passion fruit juices and 1 to go small dessert $62. It made us sad to be overcharged because we have been supporting this business since day 1 especially during the covid lockdown . I understand that inflation has had a negative effect on businesses and everyone in general but No one should have to pay $22 for boiled green bananas. My suggestion is keep the prices at a reasonable range."

"This place is an absolute joke. 30 minutes to get a table, we had a reservation for outside. 45 minutes to get a glass of wine. Several other tables were served and bread and drinks were served before we got a menu. Our dinner was incomplete, fragmented and served incorrectly. I ordered a steak medium rare was well served and the manager argued with me that the temperature at mid rare 15 minutes after serving the steak was boiled all the way. Manager was unapologetic. The second steak was still cutting, completely purple and could hardly cut with knives. Service was unprofessional, frankly, had better service at McDonald's and better food for this matter. Save time and money and go to the breakers or four seasons!"

"The moment we walked in our host/server/bartender/busboy was an entertainer… which is perfect because though I don’t remember his real name he did tell us his “stage name” is Sebastian . In addition to explaining the menu, making excellent recommendations, and providing an overall superb experience… he was attentive, but not over the top. The food was also excellent with plenty of variety for all palates. Bar drinks were varied and delicious with plenty of Spanish ingredients. I am not familiar with Cuban cuisine. had dinner in la casita on the recommendation of the cigar shop on the street. that is a wonderful restaurant! our waiter helped me with menu choices. he was a patient gentleman. fixed photos of my meal. the other members of our group had different dishes. we were all very satisfied. I dare to say that you couldn't go wrong with any choice. I'll say that. I'd drive an hour for a glass of her sangria. many thanks for a pleasant evening!"

"Libertad Restaurant is one of the best Dominican restaurants in Queens. It is very difficult to find genuine, authentic Dominican cuisine in Queens, otherwise. There was a time when I couldn't decide which Dominican style restaurant was going. Not sure what happened to everyone. We're left with the worst. BUT, fortunately Libertad Restaurant arrived. The food is excellent, they follow my special instructions in the letter, and the service is fast. I will admit that some of the ladies can be a lil snarky. But as a takeout restaurant in Woodhaven we cannot expect a perfect service with a smile. If everything works, it would be customers."
