"during the breakfast hours of 9-11 clock. a good choice on the menu. the pancakes were great even though I let them leave the powdered sugar. the veggie omelette was also very good. it was filled with an excellent coffee and a cinnamon coffee-flower muffin. great place for breakfast!"

"The food here reminded me of a noble diner in Oakland. Every time I get to Kansas City, I'm looking for a new place to connect with my cousins. The food was really good, the staff was great. I just wish some of the courts had a better explanation of what it actually was. But that is not a complaint, and that is my preference I would definitely recommend this place that I would definitely return. My next visit I will go to room 39"

"My friend and I had an interesting experience here. It was our first time and were greeted by the owner. We asked if we could use the 2022 Axxess card and received a roundabout answer. Once seated we asked again and he said yes and told us our server would be right with us. Ten minutes later our server came with used menus and hibiscus infused water. Neither my friend nor I were fans so we asked for regular water when she came back to us. My friend ordered the Curry Vegetable Stir Fry and I asked our server if she recommended the red snapper or catfish. She responded that they were out of the catfish, so I ordered the Red Snapper fillet. She informed me that that night the red snapper was actually the whole fish, not just the fillet. I said I would try it. Our food arrived and my friend really enjoyed her meal, but I picked at the fish and unfortunately got some bones in my mouth. It didn't taste like much and it came with plain rice."

"LOVE the drinks. This may soon be my favourite hole in the wall cocktail bar. They have wonderful live music. Patrons are sweet and friendly. Yaz the bartender makes his special cocktails every fortnight and they’re sure to hit the spot. I’m a huge whisky fan and it’s hard to find non old fashioned or whiskey sour drinks. This spot makes the most original delicious yet STRONG bourbon and cognac cocktails! Been here twice, not my last!"
