"This was my first time at Sacred Pepper and I had a wonderful culinary experience! The swordfish Napoleon I ordered was absolutely great, especially mentioned on the grilled asparagus! The server was very nice and not excessively chatting, just as I want to be treated! In addition, we were served free Calamari during waiting and that was a nice plus! The only drawback was that the place has a lingering food smell. It's probably on the fabric in the chairs. No, the smell is not bad because it's food, but it's too much. Also, I would really appreciate it if the crew didn't sweep the floor while the customers still eat. It only spoils the classicity of the ambience and all that."

"Took almost an hour to order our entree. Food was delicious and ambiance was cool. Wait wouldn’t have been that big of a deal but we had a 7:30 show. Almost didn’t make it. Overall nice restaurant, great food, reasonable price."

"Our first impression was that the restaurant was closed. We didn't see anyone inside and the front door was locked. We entered through the hotel to find the very friendly staff. We ordered the steak tar tar for a starter and it was excellent. We got a bottle of wine which was professionally presented and poured. Our main dishes were the filet minion and the fish of the day. The filet was ordered medium but was served rare (not a big issue as we just ordered the tar tar) but it should be cooked perfect when it has a $55 price tag. My fish was cooked exactly as ordered but there were some roasted potatoes that were not cooked at all. They had the appearance of being cooked (browned on outside). The flavors of both dishes were exceptional including my side dish of collard greens. We finished off with a slice of cheese cake which was very good but but not what we would call memorable. If the dining room had more energy (more than 3 couples) and there were no small mistakes; this restaurant would have been in my top 10. When the cost for two to eat with wine gets in the $200 range, there is no room for mistakes especially when there is an establishment across the street that is very near perfect for less. All of this being said; I will be going back."

"Leave breakfast with a great ala carte menu on weekdays! The food was cooked to order and our drinks were refilled in time. On Saturday and Sunday morning, breakfast is only available as a buffet for $18/person and includes drinks. The buffet selection consisted of eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, oat flour, pancakes or French toast, fresh fruit, muffins and other pastries. The bread selection to make your own toast was fabulous! The multicorn bread does not taste like something from a store. We got no chance to enjoy dinner at Dover, but the menu looked delicious. The bar is well equipped with a good selection of interesting options."
