"I’m very rarely disappointed but this was just sub par all around. Could have been made better very easily. Music would be nice, other than the music that seemed to be coming from one of the chefs phones. Wine glass was warm, calamari over cooked and so was the crème brûlée. It was very “hotel restaurant.”"

"Poor--extremely slow service. Food was mediocre, but for the corn chowder ordered by one of the attendees. It is unfortunate that Basil 's was refreshed into The Jolliet House because the service level and food quality were not improved."
