I found a menu and decided what we wanted. waits in the line to order for 20 minutes. we were not recognized when we went in or during the line. the manager in a register has treated a thema, which then brought three more employees to help. there was a second register that another employee would have taken our order. place was not busy. we were very disappointed and there were six in our party, so I know they saw us. after 10 minutes we went out. "I ordered an individual pizza and 6 pieces hot wings for lunch today and had problems with my debit card, I had to call the card holder to clarify it, and then, when I tried to pay for my meal, the manager insisted that she would buy my lunch today from her own pocket!!! That was great way to do it and hopefully someone at a higher level will see this and give that girls a wage increase!!! I love Athens,OH Donato and always had a positive experience with food and staff."

"We tried the hand tossed crust on our Pepperoni Pizza (Large) this time and loved it! The Sauce Cups let us eat the crust like breadsticks. The thin crust is still my favorite though. The Dr Pepper 2 liter was nice and cold which we truly appreciated. The food here is always delivered nice and hot and we love the crispy pepperoni. There was a donatos close to my house when I was younger and Ive missed it so much. I am so glad to have this one close by. Best delivery pizza I have had in Birmingham! I highly recommend!"

"I love Donatos, but 2 times in the last few weeks, I have ordered online after 9 PM and a guy calls to say they closed early at 9 instead of 10 due to short staff. Tired of the excuses. Hire more staff, change your hours in general, or shut down the online ordering when you decide to close early. Regardless, it 's not good business practice to change your hours every other day when people expect you to be open. Fix the problem! Papa John 's and Dominoes doesn 't seem to be having this issue. I seriously think they are just not busy and decide to close early to suit them at the time. Very poor customer service."

"I ordered for late night delivery and was a little confused when the driver arrived 30 minutes after the notification I got that they had left go delivery because it’s not even 10 minutes from my house. Needless to say it was because when they were driving the first time he had to slam on his breaks compromising the quality of the pizzas. Instead of delivering them the driver returned to the store to have them remade and delivered 4 pizzas instead of 2 (the compromised and the new ones). I was appreciative of the quality and customer satisfaction he wanted to uphold."

"Overall this is a solid little sandwich shop. The sandwiches have always been nice and toasted, sides are standard. Seating is quaint and is a nice break from the corporate setting. Staff was quick and professional. Only knock is that prices skew high it seems. A couple of the combos seem to be around 50 cents of savings, I suggest just a sandwich and a side if you desire. It's a nice change from the usual but wouldn't be my every day spot."

"Classic bakery but was slightly disappointed by the items we ordered. The turtle cheesecake was a bit too dense and also didn 't really have much flavor. The quiche lorraine was just okay and seemed to be lacking in flavor. Though my husband loves quiches so we tried the same item in the West Portal outlet and it was absolutely delicious. What they did get right in both places was the crust on the quiche it was buttery and just the right amount of flakiness.The one item I really did like though from this outlet was the lemon tart it was just the right amount tart and they nailed the crust again. Based on the items that I tried, I would say that their breads and baked crusts are winners and I just need to try those the next time."

I understand that being short-staffed can lead to delays, but when you speak to a real person instead of ordering online, it would be nice to get an update on delivery times.
