"Sal de Fortes treats you like family where you are before or it is your first visit. I had one of the new specials last night, a spinach and goat cheese filled chicken breast with risotto and grilled asparagus. It was dying. The filling was so good that I had only one bowl. Our server was excellent as usual. All in all a wonderful and relaxing meal."

"We have been visiting Mendenhall for 20 years to celebrate our anniversary with brunch. Over the years, we have noticed an increase in prices, which is understandable. The menu has also undergone changes, which is expected. However, we have noticed a decline in quality recently. The food is still decent, as is the service, but it doesn't quite match the elegance of the Sunday Champagne Brunch that we remember."

"they seem to have a lot of options that others have mentioned, but what they have on the menu is solid and it is perfect cat food. they are also able to modify their vegetarian dishes to make them vegan. they offer only sourded and pita as their vegan bread options, but the sourdough was absolutely delicious and went well with my burger!"

"I am simply tied by the remarkable service and impeccable personalization of this fine establishment. I have never experienced in my life this whole hearty friendly service of the staff, especially my waitress marisa she was simply enthusiastic and checked on a frequent basis. not to mention the remarkable manager marquis, which is an excellent guy, a man who can train employees like no other man. what a great environment to be a part. P.S. these kesefries are a pretty delectable, so cheesy, baconey and fresh. 15/10 would recommend and will come back on a common basic, perhaps even as much as marisa visited my table to make sure we take care."

"This place has a pretty nice view of the lake. The staff are friendly and attentive. When we visited, they has e decent variety of local beer on tap. The food was also good. We had a group with diverse dietary preferences, including picky kids. We all left happy."

"I had a reservation on Friday, 12/22/23 at 12pm. I was coming from Wayne, PA; my sister from Wilmington and my 75 year-old aunt from Ocean City, MD. I drove approx 60 miles and my aunt drove approx 80 miles. My sister got there first and was told that the only staff that showed up was the cook and the owner. There was no communication that our reservation had been cancelled, although the owner stated that he had cancelled the reservation. That was an outright lie. Additionally, he did not even apologize or offer an incentive to return. It is my opinion that something is tragically wrong with the ownership/ management of this location for an entire staff to not show three days before Christmas. Do not go here as the same may happen to you."

"Came in here for the brunch!!! Definitely recommend!!! Drinks were flowing and food was so good... the waffles were delicious.. I ate them too fast and then realized I should have taken a picture. .. Our waitress Melina was a doll!! She was so sweet and had great recommendations.
