"The place was right across my planet's gym where I've been 3 years, so I decided to try it. I have chicken and waffles, mozzarella sticks w/ sauce, chicken parmasean, pancakes with blue berries a strawberries from the brunch menu. Overall, it was a delicious meal. The only thing they have grounded was the pancakes that were not thoroughly cooked so we had to send them back. The waiter's attention was great so he wasn't guilty and I still tipped him well. The screwdriver drink I had with my brunch special was quite strong so I like it. The place was clean and there were many people. Waiting wasn't long for food. I will have gone back"

"This diner is nice and quaint. Seemed like the place to go for the locals. The wait staff knew most of the patrons inside. The food was delicious. Orders came out rather quicky. Everything ordered was tasty. I had a young child with me, the staff offered them coloring/activity pages and crayon. The child I was with was pleasantly surprised when they saw they had pages of activities and not just a single page to color. The crayons provided were crayons of different colors outside of the standard red, blue, and red. The wait staff was fun. Very attentive to the table. If ever in the area again, I would go back."

"Sitting in the ER with my 82 year old father. He has horrible food poisoning and is violently ill. It is from the food he ate here this evening. He brought home half because he couldn’t eat it all and upon looking at it, I saw that the meat is completely raw inside! How dare you? With the amount of money it is to eat out and the way businesses are struggling to make it, you would think that there would be more attention paid to what is being served! Will never go back! "Pretty good food and very good service at our recent visit to Westfield Diner. We sat immediately and our waitress quickly got our drinks and orders. She was excellent when she was so often asked if we needed more coke. We ordered a Pizzaburger Deluxe with disco frits. The food was pretty good and it was the first time I had a pizzaburger that included Mozzarella sticks above. This diner was also beautifully decorated for Easter."

"We went for breakfast on a Sunday morning. It was empty so we were seated quickly. We were greeted almost immediately by our server and started with just some coffee. We decided on scrambled eggs with cheese, grits and Canadian bacon. I asked for cheddar with my eggs but I don't think that's what I got. I only eat cheddar on my eggs so unless it was some exotic, overseas and organic cheddar, that wasn't cheddar. It was very bitter and tart and I just wound up scraping it off my eggs so I could get through my meal. It tasted between provolone ans swiss. But the rest of the meal was enjoyable. Despite the heat wave outside it was comfortable inside and as customers began to trickle in you could see this was a favorite local spot. The restroom was clean and well stocked with paper towels and tissue. And we were even gifted a small box of cookies when we left."

"Decided to check out a little food history while in Chicago. Overall a disappointment but there were some bright spots. Atmosphere was great...lots of energy and for a birthday, the entire diner sang. It was pretty heartwarming. People werenice and it really felt homey without feeling cheap. Food was ok at best. For a place that prides itself on its baking, theFrench toast looked great but was super dry. And because the bread was so thick, you couldn't get pat it. Definately need tosoak in a batter or liquid before cooking. Pumpkin pancakes served with a ton of whipped cream. Whole thing tasted like a bakedpumpkin pie. Issue was the pancakes were nearly raw in the middle. Bacon we asked for never arrived but at least it wasn't onthe check."

The only real complaint I have is that I ordered $30 worth of food to go I ordered double bacon with pancake literally got zero bacon, my son was really disappointed. When I tried to call 5 minutes before they closed, there was no answer. Would still go back!"
