"We had a great lunch at Wa Jeal. Starting with spring onion pancakes (delicious) and ending with chicken and broccoli (again delicious), the lunch menu (rice, main course and soup) was very cheap and delicious. The environment is wonderful - brick walls and pretty decorations and the service excellent. Highly recommended!!"

"We had to ask over and over again during dinner to get the salad which was ordered initially. When it finally arrived, it was dressed even though we specified dressing on the side. Never got bread and oil. Eggplant dish was served lukewarm. Noisy environment even when only half full of customers. Too pricey for what you get."

"I have visited this hotel before and dined at this restaurant several times. This visit was my best experience yet. Although the menu had changed slightly, the steak I ordered was delicious. The service was exceptional. I would definitely dine here again."

"I was surprised to see how empty the place was at pm on a Tuesday during the season. I'd gotten a text/email stating that if we over minutes late we could lose our table too. I think they are glad we showed up period. There were plenty of open tables when we arrived at pm I got the snapper in a red curry and it was very good. My daughter got the filet and it too was good. My wife chose the strip steak and I have to say that was one skinny looking NY strip. Our waiter wasn't the most responsive as he seemed more involved with getting tables ready for tomorrow's breakfast brunch or something. Desserts were good the scoop of gelato was enough to feed a baby maybe. Anyways, it sure seems like this place may be on the outs or I just have seemed to pick the slow time?"

"Staying at La Quinta for Thanksgiving. Unable to get a reservation for Thanksgiving dinner at their small restaurant. Hotel did their best for the majority of their guests by decorating and serving a continuous Thanksgiving meal from about noon to 6PM in their ballroom. Very large room. Decorations were fine. The food was obviously cooked much earlier and heated until served. Deserts were not very good. Lots of people coming and going. Wait staff were doing their best to try to make the occasion special. I do not fault the hotel. On the contrary. I appreciate that they did their best not to turn anyone away from the festive meal. I wish the dinner had actually lasted through the evening but 6PM was the cut off. Not sure I understand having dinner at noon."

"I am really surprised at the number of low quality reviews till I saw they are all old. Our experience just a day ago was spectacular. Service was attentive, buffet was excellent. Not massive but everything was fantastically prepared. Pork belly to die for. Short rib was unbelievable. Compliments of sauces paired with each dish were very well made and selected. I was very happy and very satisfied. Will return."
