"I booked a night at this hotel for a birthday party and selected the wrong date stupid. This is my fault! I wanted to go, but I called the hotel and was relieved to hear that they canceled and reimbursed me because they were already sold out of the date I needed. I then booked another hotel in the area and there the Comfort Inn remained excellent and a great alternative! The Holiday Inn Clark still accused me for the night. I tried to call her several times (4 times). to see what was up, and every time I got the same answer: they needed to check with their office manager and would call me back. Okay, great. Except they have never called I suspect that this is so that some people will forget to go up (Horrible Customer Service #1). But I continued to call back, and the manager got Chippy with me and said I never cancelled, and they would take my money (Horrible Customer Service #2 . He literally suggested to me to deny the charge on my credit card. Basically, he said they were sold out this night, and I was not a show, despite my call to cancel. Now I have rarely had bad experiences with customer service on every company, so this is a first Lol. I've never written a 1-star rating before. But that's too much. I never had a hotel eaten my money because of a mistake in the end. The morality of this story is that you are better off spending your hard-earned money elsewhere. Holiday Inn Clark has slim business practices that simply want your money and provide terrible customer service. I'll spend another night at Holiday Inn Clark or another Holiday Inn. Hold with the big chains like Hyatt and Marriot, where I've never been treated so badly."
