"A local Haitian restaurant found and thrilled that it is near me. ordered their lunch special Griot and Diriz kolé (Pork cunks with rice and beans for $9.99). Lunch specialities come with a drink per menu, but they forgot my drink. But check to confirm with the server. The food smelled so good, I couldn't wait. At first glance it was beautifully presented with some chopped peppers and onions on the fried pork bites like garnish. The meat engravings were a decent size, somewhat smaller than usual, but tasteful. The pig had a nice spice, not dry and well cooked. The rice was also well cooked. The tomato sauce was decent, not as flavored as I am used to, but also not bad. Overall, for my first time, I evaluate it a solid 4. The restaurant is small but picturesque and the hostess was friendly. Will be visited again to see if they are consistent and if other articles are just as good. Like now, thumb up."
